The heating was on a schedule such that at night the temperature in the house was around 6 degrees giving me a backache until I asked the owner to keep the temperature at a constant 23 degrees. "We stayed in room 12 which has a bath in the bedroom. Still not sure this is really a desirable option but it was interesting. The place is great, well-situated and friendly. No restaurant other than for breakfast but there are plenty of options nearby. We were woken at 6 on both mornings by noises (running water one time, something like a boiler firing up on the other occasion) but this is a fairly minor quibble. "
