"THIS INN IS AN ABSOLUTE JEWEL ON ROANOKE ISLAND, AND COMING FROM ROANOKE, VIRGINIA I CAN TELL YOU FROM ONE ROANOKER TO ANOTHER, THIS IS THE BEST PLACE ON THE ISLAND TO STAY. THE STAFF WAS OUT OF THIS WORLD, THEY WERE SO NICE AND SO HELPFUL, AND THEY MADE ME FEEL RIGHT AT HOME! I WILL BE BACK!!!"

"have no complaints about my stay at the cypress moon inn, you cannot beat this place for the price. Location is beautiful, with a balcony that gives you a nice view of the sound side. Breakfast is some fruit and muffins, restocked each day. It's a light breakfast, perfect for starting your day. There's a Walmart nearby just in case you forget or need to pick up anything. "Our stay at Beach Rd Bed and Breakfast was amazing! The house is perfectly located across from the beach which provided amazing sunrise and sunset views! The Corolla room had a perfect private balcony and was the best spot for a short beach trip with my dog. The owners left out snacks for breakfast and happy hour which was the sweetest touch! A 10/10 experience!! "

"Returned 40 years later from our 1st stay, when it was in its original ocean front location, to this 2025 stay. Classic, historic, dedicated beach access, lovely grounds, lush landscaping and gardens, and a great vibe. Rocking chairs and porch swings harken back to the good ‘ol days. Wonderful breakfasts by Chef Georgia, with eclectic culinary creations. Just love this ‘old woodie’ hotel in the original classic OBX architectural style."
