"Hotel reception wasn’t well signed. Rooms were clean, but corridors were quite dirty. Staff were friendly and helpful. Main restaurant wasn’t available so had to eat in a stark feeling cafe area which wasn’t so nice. The staff were very accommodating regarding allergy issues. The steak wasn’t very good. Breakfast in the restaurant area was nice. Again staff were attentive."

"We had a lovely stay at the Imperial. Although on arrival we thought the exterior looked tired and was worried about what the interior would be like. Nevertheless we needed not to be concerned as it is in a very good condition internally. Our room was a nice size and probably one of the most comfortable beds I have ever had at a hotel. The breakfast was of a good standard. One tiny complaint is they I had to.pay for the car park. Overall it’s a lovely hotel, nice staff and a very pleasant stay...

"Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was good. Room was clean . However was very tired and need of a freshen up. Could not turn shower off so had to be moved rooms. Second room lock was a bit fishy and needed lots of pulling/pushing to secure locking "

"We stayed two weekends, 23rd and 30th The staff were very good at their job. When we were staying above incredibly volatile and inebriated guests on the first weekend, it was dealt with quickly. Unfortunately the next night another guest set off the fire alarm at 1am. The second weekend was faultless- thoughtful guests same excellent staff Clientelle interesting, staff incredibly professional and kind. "Have stayed before but this time we had a two bedroom apartment. As with our previous stays, the apartment was comfortable, warm, well equipped. Yes a bit worn in places. Cooking facilities could be a little better eg. Condition of frying pan, no cooking oil but otherwise everything you could need. Facilities on site are excellent. Adventure golf was very good. "Absolutely fabulous few days away. This is a real gem of a hotel. Quiet and secluded but a real joy to experience. The staff are so helpful and genuine (Rosie, Sharon and Oliver deserve medals) There was plenty of choice for breakfast, the cooked breakfast was tasty and well presented. The evening dinner menu and quality of food was 10/10. I think it could be even better with a slightly extended menu. We will be back x"
