"A lovely little apartment right in the centre of Clifton village. Very cosy and well maintained. My only complaint would be there is no "Convenient and secure on-site parking, a rare amenity in the area", as described when booking. There is on paid on street parking but you have to arrive after 5pm to pay for all night parking. Other than that I would recommend. "

"Local amenities were for for purpose. It's a student-orientated area with a large supermarket 3 minutes away. Ideal for picking anything up you might need."

"The room is good and of a reasonably high standard. There are however two major challenges. The room was on the top floor which from the car park is three flights of stairs. A lot when you’re carrying several large bags and clothes for a wedding. The second big issue is the hall lights on a sensitive room sensor. There is no way to switch this off or lights off. "The truest test of a review is would we stay there again? The answer to that is sadly a no. Nothing particularly wrong, just not really a good value all things considered in the end. The property is well positioned in the city for access to grocery, chain restaurants, coffee houses and the #8 bus. There is a busy street, particularly popular on weekends nearby. The place was very clean, smelling of bleach when we arrived, however bleach wasn’t wiped away near a counter and one of us ended up...

"We stayed one night while we were in Bristol for a show at the Hippodrome. It is an older hotel, but a comfortable stay with convenient car parking. It is conveniently located within walking distance of many sites and places to eat. We had a good size, clean room. The bed comfortable and showers hot. We really liked the white company toiletries, and there was plenty of choice for breakfast. Would be happy to stay if we are in the area again."

"Great location, easy secure indoor parking, Lucy on the front desk was terrific. Granted there was a heatwave going on but the front facing room we had was baking hot on arrival. Drawing the curtains would have helped a little and although one fan was on, another would have been even better. Some iced water on arrival would have been a nice touch. Small details but its attention to detail that really counts in hospitality. Look forward to returning! Thank you."

"The staff were really helpful and breakfast was good. The hotel overall is tired and old fashioned. I stayed in 3 different rooms (another story) and all had different issues with them. There certainly weren't any tablecloths on the breakfast tables like the picture at the start of this survey."

"A querky setting and loved the lit up orangery as you approached the property in the evening. It is not the norm but we loved it."
