"Room had been prebooked and paid for, hotel had been called and car parking booked in advance. On arriving at the hotel the car park barrier was being repaired with gaffer tape and we were instructed to park on double yellows. On attempting to check in we were told the hotel was fully booked and they didn't have the room that had been booked. "The space was great, in a brilliant location. The check in receptionist was so friendly and helpful. I would have given it 5 stars if the shower head was not broken, but we did manage to shower with difficulty. We reported it when checking out but felt we should have received some form of compensation. We understand these things happen so don't be put off, highly recommended!"

The large bedroom light worked, but none of the smaller, bedside lights worked, so not great at night - totally or all nothing. "Our large room was very spacious and it had a nice homely feel. The bed was very comfortable and the right size. There was also a decent back patio to enjoy our private dinner. Window and patio door opens wide to allow sufficient ventilation into our room. The room is clean and tidy including the bedding. There was enough space to store our luggage including our belongings. The ensuite was adequate with a decent shower. Our only criticism is the lack of a sufficient desk fan to keep cool during...

"Very disappointed with room. Paid £80 when was only worth a maximum of £20. Fire safety poster in bedroom unreadable! Very dated, dark & dingy decoration In desperate need of work Located on a busy main road, so noisy traffic. Carpet unclean Bathroom in need of updating 2 cups in room but no glasses. I asked a member of staff for a glass but was told they don’t supply glasses?? Definitely not recommended at this price!!!!"
