The neighborhood is safe with a lot of food options and corner stores nearby. If you drive here, parking is challenging but not impossible I look forward to staying here again in the future."

"Great location across from the park (museums, weekend live music, and dog walking) and walking distance to Haight. Also just a few blocks from the “N” train that takes you into downtown on Market. Very nice, chill staff made this a great weekend spot."

"You stay at this hotel for the location has a great coffee shop on the corner, which I love beautiful pastries that I would have every morning. It’s set up for European so the bedrooms are very tiny and small but they’re very clean and it’s a great location staff is very nice."

"Happy Hour at the adjoining bar was a little confusing. Usually Happy Hours are promoted as the kind of benefit that draws us with reduced price or free drinks from the well, at least. This Happy Hour was business as usual, with my $15 glass of house white wine. Upon closer reading of the promotional posters, Happy Hour at the hotel bar promised nothing to get really happy about."

"We absolutely loved the design and feel of the Hotel, it feels like you're thrown back in time of 1900s. As for service, JUDY at the bar (Butterfly Lounge) was absolutely lovely! If in the area would definitely go back just to see her. Service was excellent as she offered and prepared wonderful cocktails to our liking. Unfortunately we werent able to say goodbye. Breakfast was good loved the accommodation."

"What a charming and beautiful retreat in the city. We were not aware of the history of this place and were pleased to find out that it is still owned by the family of the founders. You can tell how much they love this place! Our room was ready for us with a garage parking spot below our room. The room was comfortable and clean and perfect for our family of 3 with our dog.
