"No issues and high marks all around. Staff was great at checkin and out and during stay. Included breakfast was just right and the daily free wine and cheese plus other goodies was a treat. Would highly recommend to anyone heading to SF area. Location is perfect, block away from Haight and across street for Golden Gate Park and easy public transportation access minutes away. Will be back!!"

"Very cute place the lobby was so nice and relaxing. They had a cappuccino machine and coffee and I would just sit there and it was so pretty great locations walk out the door and there’s all the little malls for Japan town. I love shopping in the little malls, it was so cute. There was so many cool stuff locations fantastic and all the staff were so friendly and helpful and nice. I’ll definitely stay there again. "1 night stay and since I arrived late, I like the ability to still be able to access the building. The room was a good size. I wasn’t that pleased about the shower room. I feel like you shouldn’t be able to see under the shower doors (privacy)."

"Easy check in. Nice front desk manager. Comfortable bed and pillows. FREE PARKING. A small grocery store next door. A pizza place next to that. The classic Final Final bar 1/2 block away. Many restaurants, bars and shops a five minute walk away. Palace of Fine Arts Theater also five minute walk. Presidio across the street. Quieter than I would have thought. Great value."

"I have stayed here for 20 years, it was The Opal and it has been gorgeously remodeled but has all the things I love before. In and out enclosed parking, Mel’s Diner attached so food mostly anytime, comfortable beds👍, conveniently located at Van Ness and Geary Street so Ubers and cabs etc are easy. Tommy’s Joint an SF favorite for great food, beer and cocktails across the street. And a big movie theater practically next door. Very reasonable price for how nice it is now."
