"The amenities were well thought out, and the room even had creamer for your coffee in the mini-refrigerator. The bathroom and kitchen area was exceptionally clean. I very much enjoyed my stay."

"The hotel is right on the main road through Nanaimo and I first thought it might be too noisy but it wasn't. The room is well constructed to provide a nice nights sleep. Pictures in the ad are accurate. If you travel with a dog there is a nice enclosed back area for exercise."

Each time we go there our reservation is different in the hotel vs what we reserve on Amazon. This last time we reserved a pet friendly queen and the room assigned to us was not one of their pet friendly rooms so we had to start the process all over again The last time we went I called in to their phone system. "First I have to say we have stayed here a few times now and the staff are so friendly and accommodating, definitely 5 stars for them. We took advantage of the free mini golf included with the room. You can tell that the Motel is slowly making upgrades to certain things, like outdoor seating/ BBQ area which was nice. I have to say though that although our bedding was clean, our room lacked cleanliness, there is definitely a need to improve on that. Our room unfortunately smelt like stale smoke...

"It was good for the price. It’s hard to find affordable hotel nowadays. I felt the cleaning could be improved a bit more in the area of floor. Bed cover had some black dots. I am not sure what it was. I did not tell the staff because I used the other bed. It had two beds. Shower room was good with good pressure. Overall, not bad but could be better with more thorough cleaning."
