"Great place for family"

"The room was $500 a night. The only chair was plastic. The bathroom had not been updated. The staff was not helpful when I unfortunately booked twice. There was no coffee in the room. Location was a problem because it was half a mile up hill to go to any store or restaurant. They did have a shuttle to the airport which was nice. I would not recommend it to anyonel"

"Room was 20 years out of date. Tv didn’t work, AC squeaked and didn’t really cool, wifi was so slow as to be unusable (and you had to pay for it), and soap dispensers did not have soap. Motel Six down the street was way better at half the price. Avoid at all cost."

"Staff was great, Cleanliness was great. Location was good. The bunk beds were quite uncomfortable to climb to the upper level because of the structure. Also, I got one bed where I could not even sit up straight because the ceiling was low and there was an iron rod in between. It was very uncomfortable. The breakfast was far below expectations--just pancake mix and coffee. I could not even get any milk and had to skip breakfast for the sake of time, as the only stove was being used by someone...

"Id like a refund on the 13$ for the hotel booking. That place was horrible compared to the pictures and info on the website. I left and stayed in a different hotel by walk in. I want a refund of the $13 u charged for having it posted. What a joke"

"The property was very dated, the carpet in the hallways where the rooms are was dirty, ripped and mismatched, and the smell was musty, dank and old. We understood you are at the mercy of tourism due to the cruise ships but charging $550 for this type of room is scandalous. I have stayed at Motel 8 for $59 that were better. I would not recommend or stay here again."

"Property was well taken care of , and they provide a easy to read map of property to help navigate . It was hard to find parking in the evening time due to lack of parking spots at each building . Slightly $$$ for what is provided though , at the nightly rate ."

"We stayed in the reindeer cabin. It was very charming and perfect for our group of 4. It was funny because we all had our own twin bed! Parking was right outside the door; we had a personal fire pit, and we were right next to the communal area with picnic tables and BBQ grills. The host was friendly when we checked in. Short drive to Seward and the National Park."

"The property is located in a beautiful location. Rooms were not cleaned properly. There was still dirt and hair in the bathroom. Restaurant staff at King salmon restaurant within the property are not welcoming towards people of color. Staff who guide customers at the front desk are also insensitive towards people of color. Will never stay here and will never recommend this place to anyone."

"It’s hard to find somewhere to stay at a reasonable price in the area! Better than a ‘motel’ but definitely not luxury. This hotel is not ideal for older people with limited mobility. The front desk staff was very sweet and assisted with bags, the Thai food truck was AMAZING. The biggest issue was the sewage smell- the water coming out of the bathroom sink and shower smelled horrible, like a funk almost. Really just a decent place to sleep."

"The room was okay but we it was being renovated. The light above the bed didn’t have the cover. It was on back order so we would look up from the bed and see wires. There were metal plates in the wall. We couldn’t get the air to work but they did end up fixing it the second night we were there. On a positive note, the bathroom was nice and the bed was comfortable. The location was nice and the front desk staff were very friendly and helpful."
