"Loved my villa with private pool. The room was spacious, only thing missing was a kitchen then would be complete for long term stay. Lived the private pool great to go swimming any time i want. But i did encounter tons of bats flying over pool in last night which scared the life of of me. Needless to say i cut my swim short. The dining water fault was helpful but i still had to go get my own. Hated that the transportation promised was not true, no drivers. The one day i did go to the storei...

"The hotel boasts a distinctive design, with each reservation being allocated a bubble-shaped living space. The views during both sunrise and sunset are truly captivating. However, there are much needed areas for improvement. The bubble becomes uncomfortably warm during the day, even with the air conditioning at its maximum, and gets quite chilly at night, even without any cooling. "This is the most amazing hotel I’ve ever been to. With the exception of the pool. They have a great opportunity to redo the pool as an outdoor cliffside pool with amazing views. They missed the boat on that one. But the rest of the property is 10 out of 5 stars. Absolutely beautiful. Caution: for elderly that don’t like stairs. There are lots of stairs."

"Great view from bedroom facing Mt. Batur, can easily setup timelapse to catch sunrise. Good location for pickup if you are planning a Mt. Batur sunrise trek tour, pick up at 3:15am and 20min drive to start of hike (compared with pickup 1am from Ubud). Owner of hotel is a nice uncle, chill with me flying drone on his property for some great shots of the caldera rim. A cosy bed and breakfast with a great view and near some caldera rim restaurants. Would visit again!"

"The villas are incredibly well made, and everything is just so easy to organise! The area around the villas is what I had pictured when I thought of “original ubud” which is what our driver said about the area. The street is quiet - no traffic- and an ebike tour was the most traffic we saw the whole time. It was close to all the great sites - heaps of waterfalls around, goa gajah, the water temple, the rice fields. A great place to base yourself out of, however you might never want to leave...
