"Property was small. Only one pool was open the beach very rocky more for snorkeling not for swimming. Staff was very unfriendly if you’re a person of color spend your money elsewhere."

"Loved everything about the place with only one thing. During breakfast the seagulls will literally steal your breakfast. They got my ham one morning and tried another but I blocked him but the silly gull managed to knock it on the ground. Both times my food was immediately replaced. That's annoying but the property is all very well maintained and staff is awesome."

"The Bellefonte has been by far the absolute best place I have ever stayed. The views are amazing! You literally have everything at your fingertips. It is very close to just about everything there is to do. The rooms are more than you can ask for and the service is immaculate! If you're going to Bonaire, the Bellefonte is where you should stay."

"My ten year old son and I loved our stay at Van der Valk! I am not a drinker yet the all inclusiveness - to have fresh, healthy and delicious options cooked on site saved us a lot of time grocery shopping, cooking and cleaning and we used that time well snorkeling and diving the house reef, driving to 1000 Steps (our favorite spot on Bonaire) and taking a boat to dive Klein Bonaire which had the healthiest reefs we saw this trip! "Pros: great location out of city. Beach across the street. Pretty surroundings. Clean grounds. Great pizza. Dive shop is excellent. Nice pool.
In room kitchen well stocked with utensils.
Cons: so expensive for what you get at the restaurant. in general the restaurant was overpriced and just ok. Except the pizza. It was awesome.
