"Stayed on site for a wedding. The wedding suites were good and well maintained. The actual accommodation was not great. Very basic rooms and lack of air con was a serious deficiency. When we are experiencing hot weather (as now), the one electric fan provided in a family room is not really sufficient. Breakfast was okay but very crowded in the area. "The hotel was lovely and our room was excellent. We can't fault any of the staff as they were friendly and helpful. The only thing we had an issue with was the catering for the evening meals. On the 2 nights we ate in the restaurant there were several meals and additional dishes that weren't available on both nights. "Phenomenal place to stay. We were in the mews in one of the newly renovated rooms, and it was so beautifully out together. Very clean, great staff, and if we needed anything we had it within minutes. We had our 4 year old with us too, and there is a great park & playground behind the hotel which was a big plus. Highly recommend! The only next best thing would be to have somewhere to hang your towel within reach of the tub. That’s the only set back, if you have bad knees or can’t bend over...

"Arrived early as attending a wedding at the venue. To be told there was a £20 charge to allow access to the room even though it was already available. This had not been mentioned in any previous correspondence or calls. The room was average at best and the hotel was very badly signed. The only directions given for the room was turn right at the end of the corridor, no mention of multiple flights of stairs or changes in direction to eventually find the room at the back end of nowhere. "A very disappointing stay. Save your money at stay at a local Premier Inn for half or more of the price - their rooms are much cleaner. Thick dust coating the room and surfaces, including the skirting boards. Stained brown toilet. Stains on towels. This is an expensive hotel for MK, and I have stayed in 20+ properties here over the past 18 months. For the price paid, this ranks at the bottom."
