"Stayed here for 2 nights. Right away we were greeted with the valet parking and door service. It felt grand from the moment we pulled up. Location is fantastic and we walked almost everywhere. "High rise hotel at beach front but that is where any positive ends. This is portrayed as a high quality hotel with a price tag to match and unfortunately for me this was extremely poor value and a very overrated hotel. We had booked a premium ocean view for our last nights of hotel - what this means is a higher floor as all the rooms are the same and to be honest made no different to the poor experience apart from the large dent in my bank balance. "Very beautiful location, close to so many fun things to do!! The decor was perfect for Charleston!! Note that breakfast options nearby are not extensive; the Fish House was excellent but pricey. Some days the Tiki Bar was not open, but we weren't sure why, and the other food option (The Reel Bar) did not open until 3 pm most days. Not a huge deal breaker but worth noting. We traveled with our teen daughters and they enjoyed the hotel as well."

"The air conditioner cannot be adjusted even after getting it “Fixed” it was too hot and made it uncomfortable. Housekeeping had to be requested as they did not do it prior to the request. Nothing near the hotel besides publix. I will say the Valet parking employees were very nice as well as the bartender on the rooftop bar!"
