"The front desk staff were great and for the most part the bar staff was the same except for 1 person. It was very busy and she appeared not to handle the stress very well. The shower was the worst we had seen - no water for 1 or 2 minutes and then it would start running again - first world problem I know."

"We stayed one night prior to embarking on our cruise and it is very overpriced for what it is. Location was okay for getting to the port so I’ll give them that. Rooms have no AC, I completely missed that in the property description and to be fair what hotels don’t have AC anymore? Asked for extra towels and none were in room, as well as fridge wasn’t working however no phones in room to call front desk. Overall I wouldn’t stay again and would look elsewhere."

"Hotel was ok , stayed here 3 weeks earlier, booked in for early check-in, as needed to be out by 4.00pm, was told was booked , phoned the day before to confirm, was told yes that was not a problem & was put on the computer ready for us turned up at 2.05 pm to be told don't know if room will be ready ? When said had asked about earlier check-in, to be told yes can see it on the computer under our name but don't know if housekeepering was told ?? So was given key at 2.45pm after asking another...

"This was our first ever stay in Winchester. The staff at the hotel were warm and welcoming and took our baggage and stored this safely as we had arrived earlier than expected. Our room was spacious and clean. The reception team and health spa staff were magnificent and were able to deal with each and every one of our requests.
