Cari Hotel di Distrik Cotswold

"Initially booked a two night stay but cut this short to one night after a horrid experience. We stayed here during the height of the 2026 summer heat wave. The hotel DID have air conditioning, but there was a sign in the room essentially stating that it was broken / deactivated. Upon speaking to the unbothered reception staff, it was discovered that the hotel once had air conditioning, but it had broken years ago and wouldn't be repaired. The room was stiflingly hot. "We loved staying at De Vere in Cotswolds, it was very family friendly. The room was spacious and surroundings were beautiful and calm. I specifically liked the healthy choice of breakfast. For use of swimming pool, you have to pay £10/ per person and book a lot for 60mins, but it was worth it, not too busy and there were children but not chaotic at all. We definitely would like to come back!"

"We really enjoyed our brief stay.Such charming staff. My only question would be,please keep fresh milk in the room fridge, for tea in the morning. We would like to come back to stay in one of the thank4 bed lodges, overlooking the lake, next time."

"The cottage was very cosy and had all the amenities we needed. The bed was so comfortable and everything was spotlessly clean."

"Clean room and polite staff. The spa was sup"

"Spotlessly clean hotel and everything thought about, would definitely stay again"

"ALL GOOD GREAT STAFF."

"Friendly helpful staff, good facilities including gym and pool, convenient location. EV chargers working intermittently."

"Very characterful… good breakfast"

"Our room was gorgeous! Wonderfully high ceiling and the bed was enormous and so comfortable. A nespresso machine, tea bags and fresh milk were provided. The staff were all so friendly especially the breakfast lady, she was particularly warm and kind. Also the location is perfect, close to the lovely bars of Montpellier and the shops. This was our first visit to this hotel but it definitely won’t be our last."

"Good enough but not worth the rate. There best room which they use for bridal suite has a stepping ledge onto the terrace that is unstable and there was a smell in the room. They did give us a diffuser but it was still there. The heated towel rail didn’t work. However, other rooms might be great and the views are absolutely stunning."

"Great place to stay"

"Beautiful property. We were upgraded to a cottage which was lovely. Had a wonderful stay. Staff were friendly and helpful."
