"Loved the castle. The courtyard was amazing. Food was great. Lots of sitting rooms. Very pleasant"

"Conveniently located. The room was basic, but of a good size. We were there during a hot day, and it made sleeping difficult. I asked for a fan, but there are none. Other than that, the staff is friendly."

"Overall nice stay. Carpark wasn't too well signed and had to ask for a kettle for the room. Not much variety for breakfast, but nice staff member with short blond hair asked did we want pancakes on the second morning which was nice."

"The hotel itself is very good...very quiet place..did not use the Spa but looked impressive. The breakfast was really good, I also dined in the 'Terrace' also good. Only thing was the 'Sadlier' bar was closed (on a Thursday) which I thought was strange given the hotel was fairly full. The room was very spacious , a little dated decor but nice nevertheless. I would return here."

"Overall, it is a nice hotel but we had some challenges with the amenities. It offered A/C which was a rare treat, but it only worked in one of the two rooms. We were excited to see ice machines, but couldn’t find one that worked. The tvs only got 7 channels and we had to call the office to get the room next to us to quiet down after being repeatedly woken up. The food and and drink at the restaurant were good and the place was clean and people friendly, but we were disappointed."

"Almost perfect but because the hotel does not includes air conditioning we had to open the windows and the popularity of the pub makes the outside a bit noisy. Would also have been great to have an option for breakfast but we found a nice place nearby called sage and stone."

"We were upgrade to family room. Bed was really comfy. Food in the restaurant was good. I recommend they get new pillows, their pillows are lumpy. Plus they need to put fans in the rooms"
