"We booked 3 nights at the Pegwell and I would say it’s the best hotel in Ramsgate. From getting a nice early check in, to the delicious breakfast every thing was spot on. The walk into Ramsgate is around 40 minutes and is lovely, we found the location perfect, and very quiet. Highly recommend the hotel and Ramsgate for a weekend break."

"If you’re scrolling for a hotel PLEASE KEEP SCROLLING. Absolutely disgusting & filthy. In the words of my partner, “if we had a dog, I wouldn’t let that stay here ……” To get into the room we had to move bags of rubbish outside the actually room to start with. Walked in and found a towel used by the previous guests still in the bathroom ( and we could tell as it was dirty and stained ) . "Great place for a night stay when visiting family nearby. Room was a bit tired and in need of some love, but functional enough. Rooms at the back of the building have noise due to ventilation / fans but weren’t a problem for us. Air con was amazing!"

"The family room was a good size and clean unfortunately the double bed had a dreadful squeak at every movement! However for one nights stay it was absolutely fine. I needed to wash and sterilise some baby bottles and despite it being 10pm the staff were very helpful and came back to give me access to the kitchen and microwave ( which again was very clean and tidy) we left too early for breakfast but I wouldn’t hesitate to book again for an overnight stop"

"The location is ideal for the seafront and restaurants. The bathroom was very spacious however the room itself was extremely tight. Unfortunately the service was so bad, I will not be returning. When checking in, we had to speak to 3 different members of staff before finding out which room we were in, and not one of those staff members even said hello or greeted us in any way. They ran past us trying not to acknowledge our present, We were just left standing there with absolutely no information...
