"This was our first stay in Crystal Cove. Someone from HOA called the front desk to tell them that we had too many guest. We had a 3bed 3 bath unit. 5 beds with and a pull out couch. We had 2 adults and 8 children, all under the age of 15. And 5 under the age of 8. The HOA also complained that the 2 kids bikes that we brought down were parked in front of another unit. They were parked beside the stairwell the first night as we arrived after dark and was not aware of a bike rack on the opposite...

"Overall the hotel was very nice, the amenities were great, the staff were friendly. Check in was a little rough, but check out was a breeze. Cons: the air conditioner did not work very well, there was mold all over the corner of our room, and everything was incredibly expensive, especially for a resort there should be a continental breakfast. Other than those pieces the resort was gorgeous."

However, we had a room by the hallway on the bottom floor and the staff would yell (talk very loudly) to each other early in the morning and I even had to tell a guy who liked to sit on the outside of my room that I could hear everything he was saying on his cell phone. Also, sadly no coffee. And the fees are high."
