"We stayed at this resort for 5 days. Pros: We enjoyed the variety of pools and the beach and dining options. The beach was rocky to enter but the water was well worth It. With premium we had the butler service and they were very responsive and available Cons:The staff was hit or miss, some places It was great and others we didn’t even get a hello.In terms of entertainment, we felt like the DJs and staff were trying too hard to create an atmosphere and did a lot of talking/ dance contests....

"The hotel itself is beautiful and clean. You can tell it’s very well kept. Some improvements that could have made my experience better would be: - support with luggage - elevators for guest especially when on top floor - pool hours longer - layout of property(we stayed in last building and it took 10 min just to get food - room service or guest be permitted to bring food to room I will not return though. I’ve stayed at Riu in other countries and this wasn’t a pleasant experience"

"From, the airport shuttle to the staff members, everyone was just professional made you feel extremely welcome. We had left our cell phone by accident and they kept it in Lost and Found for us until we were able to pick it up that speaks volume to the staffs that are there. Though one thing though I had paid for a king size bed room, but got 2 double. It wasn't a big deal. My 1 year old had fun with all the amenities and it's completely family oriented. Thank you for an awesome vacation."

"The food was incredible. So many choices of restaurants and the buffets were great. The pool was amazing. The beach areas were clean and there was plenty of shade and lounging chairs. All of the staff were super friendly and helpful. I loved every bit of this resort. Could not recommend more highly."

"The room doors needed to be fix the wind blows the door all night like if someone was trying to get in room, Also no ventilation in the bathroom, basically there rooms need a upgrade.."

"Family of 4 staying for a week, the resort and staff were perfect. This stretch of ocean at Bloody Bay is a dream. The Blue tents were a fun experience where we bought a few local crafts. The walk to the sister resort RIU Negril was easy and a nice plus to be able to use 2 resorts. The food was great all week at the buffet, and the specialty restaurants didn’t disappoint. 10/10."

"The pictures and advertisements of the property do not match the reality of the property. We had to ask for wash clothes. It took 10 minutes for the water to turn hot. Also, I was only there 3 nights and initially, the toilet was slow to flush, by the 2nd night, I had to ask for a plunger because the toilet was stopped up. They never had any hot cocoa which was on the menu. The views were amazing though. That was the best part about the stay."

"We just spent our 25th anniversary week at The Palms and had a great time. The resort is stunning and the staff is so friendly and helpful. The treehouses are so adorable and clean. The bed was super comfortable, the pillows weren’t the best, but nothing is like my own pillow! Housekeeping did a great job everyday cleaning and restocking towels and our mini fridge. "The entire resort was absolutely beautiful. It did have a slight smell and I’m sure it was from the hall carpet from hurricane. Best part about that is my last day there they were closing to remodel. My husband and I are waiting for the opening to book next year."

"As the first stop of my trip, my stay was pleasant. The food was beyond exceptional, and the staff were very communicative and welcoming. The only downside was the bathroom in the hotel room. The shower did not have a door or a bump on the floor to hold the water in so a lot of it flooded out into the main room.
