"Great hotel just outside Cortina. Lovely rooms and staff were helpful at all times. Definitely value for money. Only thing to consider when planning trips around the area is the shuttle service can be a wait, as many guests use it, heading in all directions from the hotel."

"The property was clean, well maintained and updated. Shower was spacious, which is rare in Italy. Property felt very safe and required security codes be entered at various points. The staff was very helpful and provided an alternative way to check in when we realized that we may not arrive when the staff was present on site The property did have a small elevator which was helpful for suitcases. The location was good, walking distance from Termini and the Colosseum area."

Breakfast was good, but too many cakes and pastries for myself, I would have preferred more savoury options. Staff were good. Room was airy and clean. Beautiful view. Good air conditioning. But make sure you book the annex. A lot more modern. Bar is expensive. We would revisit this hotel."

"We had a lovely stay at the Majestic Palace. The location is great, just outside Sorrento and only a short 5-10minute walk to the nearest train station (train into Sorrento only €1.50 each). The amenities are excellent; including a dine in restaurant (as well as a separate Michelin star dining area), rooftop bar garden area out back and poll area at the front. "Absolutely disgraceful reception operation. They are working to scam guests. Booked a taxi with a 50€ deposit. The morning of the taxi my flight was cancelled and I asked them to have the taxi take me to the train which is equidistant. Instead, they cancelled the taxi and kept berating me to pay an additional 100€ on top of the deposit for the cancelled ride- which they cancelled!
