"We were delighted to have booked Le Provencal. The setting in Gien is perfect, with both easy access to the village and also front line access to the sea via the well maintained gardens, pool & bathing platforms. The pool area and coastline are magical. The service from all of the Le Provencal team was helpful and friendly, of particular note was the 'pool manager'. "Le petit déjeuner correct , la piscine couverte très sympa. Les points forts de cet hôtel sont : le cardre magnifique , les activités nautiques : kayak , pédalo et Paddle à disposition + Mini golf , tennis . Les chambres petites mais propres. "Nous n’avons pas essayé le spa mais tout l’ensemble était magnifique ! J’ai surtout apprécié la salle de fitness avec les machines en bois , la proximité de la plage et les excellents plats dégustés au restaurant ; petit déjeuner savoureux et complet . Un bonheur !"

"Friendly staff, very clean room and bathroom, to a point with the scent of those big name hotel chains. Very convenient, covered all the basic needs. However for those who prefer something more quaint, perhaps take a look at Saint Anne or Auberge Des Glycines."

"Unfortunately the sauna and pool were broken and not useable when we stayed. However, it is a great location and the staff were all fantastic and it was a really enjoyable stay. The rooms were nice and modern. The location being very central, does allow noise to creep up the floors from celebratory locals but nothing to bad imho."
