"We had such a nice stay at the Monterey Peninsula Inn. The location is absolutely perfect. It is close to everything, and a short drive down to Big Sur, or up to Santa Cruz. But exploring Monterey was so much fun as well. The room wasn't anything too impressive, although it did have a full (small) kitchen, which was great and very convenient. All pots, pans, silverware, plates, cups, and others were supplied. The fridge is a small dorm room one, but it worked out for us. The staff was wonderful...

"The location is unmatched, staff is incredibly friendly and professional. Rooms are cozy and views are gorgeous. 5 min drive from downtown Carmel. Carmel is one of the best places to bring a dog. BUDS, the restaurant in house, is phenomenal. The breakfast (included) is the best breakfast I’ve had. That alone would make me come back. "

"Our room was beautiful looking down on Cannery Row, Monterey. Well appointed, warm and inviting. The staff is exceptional! Friendly and professional. Our continental breakfast was fresh and hot. The fireplace added to the warmth of the room, though it was too warm to use. Will definitely return!"
