"The hotel has been going through a remodeling process. The 2nd floor was basically under construction. The fitness center, swimming pool and all other amenities on the first floor were being used to store construction materials. There was no patio area for lounging outside. There was no bench or any other seating area in front of the hotel so if a person was waiting for a ride there was no place to sit. As for the remodel process, we were on the 3rd floor which I guess had been completed. ...

"I visit Ruidoso several times per year. This location is perfect for walking to restaurants and shopping. This hotel is always clean and the employees are very friendly."

"One of the elevators were out of service the entire stay, it was a bit slow to get in and out of property. The room was not serviced for the entire trip; not sure why. I asked for towels for the first day and it was never cleaned thereafter.
The food and beverage staff was very friendly and helpful. Although the housekeeping staff was not very pleasant or helpful."

"The beds are very comfortable- very nice linens. The toiletries are clean and smell wonderful. Great stay after along day of driving. All the staff are helpful and friendly. We enjoyed the well manicured peaceful garden. Actually all the art and decor has a beautiful New Mexico presence- we enjoyed our stay very much. The hotel has great security, and parking."

"Parking is more than $30 per night. On Expedia it said “self parking” but did not specify the charge. Every morning there was a very loud noise that woke me up. I don’t know if it was construction or what it was but it was very loud. The rooms had water bottles with caps that needed a bottle opener but no bottle opener available.
