"Feels like a mix between a Victorian bed and breakfast and a very mid hotel. Front desk staff were friendly. Could hear others in their rooms. Bathroom is a 3 inch step up from the bedroom so tripped multiple times. Breakfast vouchers for everyone creates a very crowded experience in a small space in the morning."

"This is a beautiful hotel which has maintained it's old-world charm. The staff were all so preofessional but also genuinely warm and friendly. The hotel is spotlessly clean, the beds and linens very comfortable and the bathrooms updated but blended well with the decor.
The rooftop bar/restaurant has wonderful views and again very clean with excellent coffee and food.
The hotel is centrally located in Manhattan which makes anything you have planeed easy to access."

"I stayed here for two nights at peak season and paid a five star price for a 3 star hotel. The positives were a friendly staff and a great midtown location, However, the hotel has not been updated in MANY years. Dirty wallpaper, carpets and a hard and uncomfortable bed. Not well kept or to any major flags standards. The floor in my bathroom was very uneven and looked to be sinking. Duct tape instead of grout around the tub The decor was a flashback to the 90’s or 80’s. Breakfast was poor,...

"The room was large for NYC hotels and had a bathtub which is not easy to find. Also I had stayed at the property before and the staff made sure to acknowledge that.
The location was perfect, near so many attractions and parks."
