"The building was beautiful and our room was good, the bed very comfortable. B We only stayed one night but the food was disappointing. We met friends who had stayed for a few nights and they felt the same. That’s the only thing that lets it down really"

"Nice hotel, very well situated with rare westerly view over sea (sunsets, not common on east coast), very near reliable coastal bus route, good restaurant, well-kept local beer in hotel's pub. Recommended."

"The pub was lovely beams and horse brasses. We didn’t eat there as my daughter lives just down the road. The rooms out the back are comfortable clean and have everything you need it was quiet at night as I am a very light sleeper but had no trouble."
