"Very friendly lady at the counter. We travelled to Newcastle recently for the Great North Run. The lady (I am so sorry for not remembering her name) had plenty of suggestions about how to get to the venue. She even let us keep the car parked after our check out. The location is very good as well. Buses and Metro available within a short walking distance. Great value for money!"

"Superb hotel in perfect setting right next to the Castle and a short walk into Alnwick town centre with its full range of shops and restaurants. We had a wonderful stay with friends and being a new hotel (opened in May) everything felt fresh and well presented. Staff were friendly and helpful. "The stay was excellent and the rooms were really well designed. I also appreciate how they were able to extend my booking last minute. The best part of this hotel is access to downtown Newcastle by foot and access to the train station or metro. The only thing I don't recommend is the restaurant on the 2nd floor. "We really enjoyed our stay at the Gosforth Park Hotel. It was unplanned, as we had to reschedule due to issues with another location. But we able book a room easily with Gosforth. The staff were wonderful and accommodating during our 4 day stay. Prices are wonderful, the rooms are large and spacious, the gym and poor are fantastic. Could not recommend more. "
