"Great location and romantic stay"

"This was not our first stay at this hotel. It’s in a great location, the staff are always nice and the hotel meets our needs. We didn’t have breakfast on this occasion but generally it’s very good. We will be staying at the hotel again in the future and would recommend it to others."

"I love the hotel but what I did not like this time was, I was not allocated a room until I arrived. So I ended up with a disabled room. I don’t know if it was because I was a solo traveller or maybe they thought I would not arrive or even because I did not pay until I arrived. It took about 10 minutes to check in when the person next to me checked in , in 2 minutes. Apart from that I like staying at the Maldron."

"Staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was okay but not the one I had booked. Breakfast was good and varied. It’s located close to the city centre with a lot of bars and restaurants within a 10 minute walk, but it was quiet enough for a good night’s sleep. Nothing I could say wowed me but a good place to stay to enjoy the city."

"Enjoy this Village hotel , very very comfortable and quiet room. Really helpful hospitality from the team, shout out for Sarah front of house and bar manager Stephen who helped with gluten free needs and made my stay much easier. Pool an added treat. Definitely stay again."

"My problem is probably mostly with Expedia. I didn't tick the box saying that I wanted a pet-friendly hotel, but the staff informed me after arrival that all their rooms were of that nature, and they didn't respond to a request via the Expedia website for a pet-free room prior to my setting off. It was clear efforts were made to minimise the effect of their policy on cleanliness but nevertheless it wasn't what I'd have chosen, if clearly informed."

"Great value hotel not too far from the train station. Clean if a bit cramped room. Shame about the shower being in the bath. Excellent breakfast. Great customer service from the receptionist, who changed my room from noisy corner overlooking the road to quiet courtyard without fuss."
