Very welcoming hosts and comfortable stay. Set up encouraged guests to eat together for breakfast which we liked and had good conversation. Near enough to walk into main street.

We absolutely loved our stay here. Margaret upgraded us to a self contained apartment and it was so quirky and fun. The apartment was so comfortable and Margaret couldn’t do enough for us. Breakfast was delicious in the main house and we enjoyed chatting to Margaret whilst eating. The house itself was absolutely stunning. We would most definately come back and stay with Margaret again.

A spacious, ckean room. The sfaff were friendly a d very welcoming. Our evening meal in the restaurant was outstanding, breakfast was superb. Ample parking.

We really enjoyed our stay at Evergreen. The room was nicely presented and very clean. The Inn was easy to find and only a short trip into town to find restaurants. Would highly recommend.

Small, historic B&B in a good location. Phenomenal breakfast, hot choices are freshly cooked, lots of fruit, yoghurt, cereal, jams etc. Richard and Thomas are friendly, helpful hosts. The queen room does have a tiny bathroom with a step up to enter, but works fine. It also has a small roof light with no curtain/blind so if light disturbs you, you may want an eyemask

Highly recommend, everything you need great location great host

The hotel is really well situtated and about 10-15 minutes walk from a lot of what you'll want to see and visit in Halifax. The staff were friendly, helpful and kind. The room was clean although the bathroom a little tired. The bed was so comfortable and I really liked the blackout curtain which meant I slept really well. The gym is small but functional. The pool is bigger than you'd think and is so light with windows everywhere so feels really luxurious. Would choose to stay here again.

This was a great hotel to stay at. While I was only there for one night, from what I could see, there was a lot that this accommodation could offer for a longer stay. It is clear that much thought has been given to room features as well as amenities available in the lobby. I particularly liked the snacks and beverages available to purchase alongside the complementary tea and coffee. Although there isn't an on site restaurant, there are plenty of options nearby. Clean property good location and plenty of parking

A beautiful resort with plenty of activities alongside golfing including a spa, free use of bicycles, tennis etc. Also plenty of wildlife viewing opportunities including bears, deer, foxes and seals. The room was lovely and a good size with a balcony overlooking the golf course and sea. We ate at the restaurant in the evening and the food was exceptional and service professional but friendly.
