"Check in was easy. Rooms were ok. When we got out of the shower in the morning, there was a roach on the bed. When we went to the front desk to check out and tell them about the roach, no one there. Waited 10 minutes, called out for someone, finally called the hotel. Girl finally came out of a back room to answer the phone and I told her about the bug, but she was rude and said leave my number and the manager would call. Guess what? No call. Won't be going back there again."

"They haven't updated the plugs to give no block charging. The beds are a bit hard. So if you want a soft sleep not happening. The breakfast is simple but good minus the juice, it watered down. "

"Our oldest daughter is a student at North Carolina Central University, so we stay here anytime we are visiting Durham from NY. The hotel is in a great location and very safe area. Close to the highway but very quiet. There is a gas station across the street which is convenient. The hotel is very quiet but also family friendly. There is also free parking available The rooms are always very clean and the beds are so comfortable. The staff are wonderful and the breakfast offered is very good....

"Terrible service! We chose this hotel bc it was conveniently located across the street from the hospital. The reason we needed to stay was because our father was called in for transplant. My sister and I spent the night at the hospital with our dad bc it was required for us to be there. Our mother and my nephews stayed at said hotel. Giving that we booked online we were charged for parking that was not listed at time of booking. Fortunately the day time receptionist did credit that back. ...

"Kind staff, very helpful, they always keep it clean. Yeah the reputation isn't the greatest, but it's a dainty cute hotel that has always worked for us. The only complaint we have is that the beds could be updated(not comfortable). But we have bad backs. Everything else is fine!"

"I really just needed a place to sleep after the days festivities. I did not get to use any amenities. The elevator was a big scary but I wasn't about to lug that suitcase 3 flights is steps. So it worked out! I didn't interact with the start except to check in and out and they were both friendly"
