"Clean rooms and excellent location. Substantial breakfast included, with hot and cold items. A complimentary wine/beer hour nightly in the lobby, which is more like having a glass of wine in a friend's living room. Tea, coffee and fresh cookies made available throughout the day. Bikes and beach towels provided at no additional charge. The staff are excellent and had many good dining suggestions. Highly recommend a stay here!"

"I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but I feel obligated to warn others about our experience. When we arrived, there was no on-site check-in and we had to retrieve our keys from a lockbox. The property is an 1889 house, so we weren’t expecting modern amenities, but the moment we entered, there was an overwhelming smell of cat urine that was so strong it nearly made us leave immediately. While the room itself was somewhat tolerable, it felt damp and there appeared to be possible mold present....

"The owners were great, very accommodating. The accomodatiins were sufficient and well located. The property itself is tired and the grounds were not very well maintained. Given the level of the property I felt it was over priced."

"The property was conveniently located. Our room with two double beds was located on the second floor. It was difficult to haul our luggage upstairs - received no assistance. Breakfast on the first day was a serving of yogurt with granola and fruit as a starter, followed by eggs, toast, potatoes and ham. I don’t eat pork so would’ve been helpful to be informed what was on the menu. Drip coffee was served - it was not great. For the second day, there was an option for pancakes and blueberry...

All the conveniences of home in a very comfy cottage in the country with a view that you'll never tire of... and the moon and the stars at night - my goodness!
