Cari Hotel di Sabah

"The quality of service was not as expected for such a 5 star hotel."

"Overall okay. Only thing is the master bedroom aircon which takes awhile to fix. Owner very responsive and provided welcome drinks when arrived. The area is good and quite close to shops. Good to have a car though."

"The hotel is really nice, clean and modern. It definitely felt more upscale than other places we’d stayed nearby. The pool area was so nice with a great poolside bar and music. The restaurant downstairs was fully booked so we didn’t get to try unfortunately. Breakfast was decent. We would stay again."

"Absolutely lovely resort - the resort is beautiful and feels like paradise. The staff are all amazing, great service everywhere. The restaurants are reasonably priced (a bit more expensive than the mainland but seems reasonable given the location) and all the meals we had were really nice - we stayed for a week and had tried most dishes by the end , there isn’t a huge variety and only a few Malaysian options. Our room was up a steep hill but you can ask for a ride up on the buggy if you don’t...

"We had an amazing time at Gaya Island Resort. It is a luxury resort with great food and drinks, comfortable rooms, and incredible views/proximity to the ocean. Worth noting is that this is in a nature reserve, surrounded by jungle and ocean, and the resort embraces and supports this, which means coexisting with wildlife. You can walk out from the resort beach to their own protected reef and swim with dozens of species of beautiful fish (equipment is available for free). We didn’t see any snakes,...

"We loved our stay, the room was spotless and very modern and clean. We loved the pool and the staff were very friendly. We had lunch and dinner in the restaurant and the buffet dinner which happens each Saturday which was really nice. We’d definitely stay here again"

"Great polite staff, very helpful, very happy. Nexus is a beautiful, picturesque escape from the normal hustle and bustle of everyday life. We would definitely book this place again. Just be sure to pack the insect repellent as you would going to any beach."

"The complimentary airport shuttle (one-way only) was very useful along with the breakfast buffet. Definitely worth staying if you do not want to go island hopping or to the city centre"

"we stayed here for one night, before visiting the orang utan the next morning. location is next to the orang utan plc and that's it.nothing else in the neighbourhood, unless u drive 30-45 mins to sandakan city. the only restaurant in the property close at 9pm so after you are basically trapped in the room. its not safe to even walk in the property at night, its dark and we are in the jungle. the property needsTLC maintenance, its run down. the pool close at 5pm but i will not use the pool,its...
