"It was old world charming. The perfect place to relax. Night views were incredible. The staff was wonderful. We loved our room. It’s isolated beach front so to get to the center and top of Taormina you have to walk up the road and take the cable car. We loved it! Grazie tanto. "

"Le Calette is a bit of a mixed bag. We found the front-of-house staff very helpful and efficient (they helped sort out an over-charge by a local transport service). The pool area is delightful and a beautiful place to relax. But the bar food was average to below-average, and took a long time to come. There is also a 2.5km walk into town, the first part of which is not very pleasant, so you feel slightly cut off from town and restaurants. There is also a train line immediately behind the hotel,...
