"We arrived at 4pm and had to wait more than an hour due to rooms not being released. Front desk was unable to give us a time so we were stuck waiting and told they would text us when the room could be released. "The property was well maintained and clean. Easy access to the elevators to our room and hardly had to wait. The staff members were helpful and took time to answer questions. The maids checked every day to make sure we had enough towels and if there were anything that we needed. "

"Several of the pools ended up being closed due to being very dirty breakfast area always overcrowded rooms were pretty nice, but bedrooms are at the front of the room. All you heard was door, slamming people talking even up till midnight."

Also cupboard faces and walls, switchplates had quite a bit of slop spilled on them that wiped off quite easily but should have been wiped down before we got there. "I had a very disappointing experience at the Hilton Hotel in Hilton Head. From the moment we arrived, the condition of the rooms was unacceptable. The first room we were checked into had a wet carpet and a strong mildew mold odor that was impossible to ignore. It felt unsanitary and uncomfortable immediately. "Be warned - It's not just one large hotel...there are 3 or 4 bldgs. Don't get the Jamaiican - dirty and small. Very deceiving!! I know of 2 families that complained and were able to move to a nicer bldg...after being charged another $250.00...I WILL NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN!! "

"Had a great time. Property was beautiful. Staff amazing overall. Downfalls - bed mattress was failing and very uncomfortable and guest services/housekeeping was unresponsive. Also, no iron in room or a place to hang any clothing. Food was wonderful, pool areas and grounds were wonderful and safe! Would return again."
