"Cheap & cheerful hotel 2 lifts. only one worked and that was on its last legs Most squeaky floorboards ever in a hotel Food mediocre service good One downside hotel take a £50 per night deposit hold on your card untill checkout Old fashioned no need for this in my opinion"

"Staff was top tier. Helpful and very kind. Only had two issues during my stay. One was no water for a shower but that’s because there was a fire down the road and the fire fighters needed to use the water surply. Weather wasn’t so good on the Sunday and I got back to my room and there was a leak from the roof, went down to reception and they moved me right away . These things happen and the response from the staff in the hotel was top tier. Will certainly stay again when I’m in that part of the country"

"The hotel is very well maintained, looks pretty good inside and the staff are very welcoming. The room was first class. Spotlessly clean, extremely comfortable beds, first rate bathroom, all with a decent panoramic view. Everything we might hope for. Service in the restaurant was good, very attentive. Breakfast food would have been pretty good except that the hot food and drinks were all cold. But the lunch menu was disappointing, with heavy reliance on bread: sandwiches, toasties, pizza and burgers. The one "non bread" item was off the menu. That's the only caveat in a very pleasant stay. But we'd be happy to go back."

"Very friendly staff, the room was very clean and bed was comfortable. The pool was full of kids so we didn't went for a swim. Breakfast was good and had many options. The car park was quite full and the spots were a bit tight (even worse because a lot of people didn't know how to park 🙃) But overall was a nice experience! Highly recommend it!"
