"We were very disappointed with many things... firstly the hotel needs to work on its maintenance part. The bathroom showers were broken n tap nozzles were too tight n clogged pores... could not take shower the first day. Then we complained they repaired it.
The staff was sooo undertrained and raw..
And i feel they should atleast be aware of the hotel little basic know how... whm we were asking the staff about the property.. they gave us a blank look.. seemed very clueless

"Overall Impression While the general condition of the hotel is satisfactory and the staff were initially helpful, several serious lapses in hygiene, housekeeping, and data privacy protocols negatively impacted my stay.
1. Food Safety & Hygiene Concerns
During a visit to the downstairs restaurant , I observed approximately 10 to 15 fruit flies resting on the handles of two trays containing sweets.
Staff Response: I immediately brought this to the attention of two staff members on duty....

"Main Pool, Gym and Bar were under maintenance however, make shift arrangements were available. I would have preferred if this was informed at the time of booking.
Apart from this, Front Desk, Room Service, Restaurant crew were fablulous and went out of the way to make us feel comfortable. "

"Had a wonderful 1 night stay in gokulam grand in kovalam. Staff were very kind and welcoming. Service was fantastic. Our room was very clean and well maintained.
My only criticism is that the activity room could be maintained better. Only the table tennis, foosball and pool table were somewhat usable. The tv didn't work, no proper board games and AC didnt work either. "

"This isn't worth the cost per night. The accommodation is very basic a few steps above a shed, the AC didn't work properly and there were no services, nowhere to buy a coke or beer etc. I foolishly paid up front checked out a day early and they wouldn't refund me one night. However the environment/setting is beautiful but I felt I was being ripped off. "
