"Dépaysement et calme, top"

"Run down, dirty, tired, dilapidated, icky. There is no way in the world this place is 4 stars. Visually from a distance, place looks very sweet. Sweeping driveway running through quaint gardens.... but thats where it ends. There is clearly zero pride in maintaining the property, cleaning the rooms or just trying. Ita not just in need of a lick of paint - its actually vile."

"The room itself was nice, however; we had a weird experience where a woman standing in the corridor (not sure if she was staff as not wearing a uniform) watched me leave my room and then why I came back up (I only went to reception) I found her opening my door to my room, in which my younger sister was sleeping. When she saw me she stopped, closed the door and walked away. I was shocked and don't speak much french so I wasnt sure what to do and just left it - but looking back I should have...
