"We arrived and were booked in promptly. Room was lovely and clean. There was a window slightly open which was welcome and a fan that worked as well.. A little concerned at first as we could see work being carried out on the road just below our bedroom window but thankfully they didn’t do any so it was quiet. Breakfast was very good. Beds clean and comfortable. It’s an old building and dated as to be expected. Impressed with the chandeliers Would stay again. Very reasonable price."

"Do not stay here if the weather is HOT outside, I was on the 8th floor, no opening windows and a small fan that was from a comedy sketch as it worked but clicked all night. You could not breath in the room and both sweat profusely all night which was highly uncomfortable to say the least On leaving at 4.30-5am in the morning as we could not stand it any longer ...we found the hallway outside the door much cooler, the lift cooler, front desk (air conditioned ) cooler and even outside was cooler....
