"Our stay here was very disappointing. The exterior of the property was undergoing construction and looked completely chaotic and run-down, and the lobby did not make a good first impression either. While the room initially looked clean at first glance, we quickly found old leftover food left inside the refrigerator from previous guests. "They do not accept Expedia. If you make a reservation with Expedia and pay for it, that's too bad, as they won't accept it and you'll have to pay again and then go back and deal with Expedia. "I booked this hotel through Expedia in April and I put my trust in them with my reservation. So the day I was set to arrive the hotel was NOT the hotel I reserved. Apparently the Days Inn in El Paso IL is permanently closed and has been for 4/5 years!!! So why put it on the site if it’s not there. I’m still waiting to hear back from Expedia for my refund and even they were hard to find. I hope this doesn’t happen to any one else."
