Horrible! Never stayed in any place that was so filthy. Should never be rented out. No bowls or utensils. No screens on the windows but most did not open anyway. The carpet was so dirty it crunched when we walked on it. The beds were old and extremely uncomfortable. The ceiling in one of the bedrooms was sagging, cracking and appears to be close to falling down. Only 3 chairs for the dining table. 1 side chair and stool were too wobbly to use. Old food in the refrigerator and cupboards. The location was terrifying. Heard gunshots all through the night and had 2 police cars with lights flashing at 11:30 at night attempting to arrest a very loud and uncooperative person. The person renting this unit was quick to respond. But it was easy for him/her to do because they are the downstairs neighbors. If we had an other option, we would have stayed somewhere else-anywhere- we would have.

We used this space for one night. It was clean, spacious, and met our immediate needs. However, the unit appears better suited for a short stay rather than an extended visit. Guests planning to spend several days here may find the accommodations somewhat limiting. The kitchen was minimally equipped, with very few utensils or supplies available for preparing meals, particularly for more than one or two people. While there is clear evidence that the owners care about the property, the space would benefit from some updating and cosmetic improvements to enhance its overall appearance and comfort. For our purposes, a single overnight stay with no need to cook, the unit was adequate and served its purpose. It provided a basic, clean place to rest, though those seeking a longer-term stay or more fully equipped accommodations may wish to consider this when booking.

This is a perfect option for someone tryna to get some time away. It was like house away from home. The owner communicated with me the whole stay. Everything was accessible, tidy, and vibey. Definitely will consider staying again if another trip present itself.

Clean

The property shows signs of wear and tear, a lot actually, but the owner has kept it clean and in the best condition possible. Not the nicest area of town, but no issues.

Well the property was in a undesirable area that i would not stay at again. Second the door lock to the apartment didnt work. The carpet had stains. We could smell smoking from the lower apartment from where the host was staying. I will stay past 14 mike rd from now on when i visit Detroit... would not book there again

I booked this bnb and was not notified until I inquired about what I had to do to enter the house and was informed that the house was changed to a different house. I entered the property and did not even stay the night because of the condition of the property. Very disappointed and wasted money. I wish I could get a full refund for this booking. Would not book again

It was ok for a one nighter. Although they had ac units it’s was still uncomfortable hot. Had to wait for the water to drain out of sink and tub just to use it again. The “owner” was there when we got there I didn’t really care for that. He said there was parking but he parked in said spot we were supposed to be in. I also think he lives there I didn’t like that either. Oyea this is a apartment not a house and the picture were taken well but don’t expect the same look when you get there. Stairs leading up to top unit were shaky made it uneasy to walk up. Main bed room had a used crusty towel and washcloth hanging up in the closet. But we did enjoy the breezy bowl. So I guess he safe
