"Loved this cute little motel. It was a perfect way to finish up our road trip through Arizona. Loved that it was family owned and they were super nice. Had a full kitchen and even a little living room area. It’s a great location if you’re wanting to avoid the crowds of Sedona but still visit. "

" We were fortunate to stay in one of the newly renovated rooms. The property is absolutely gorgeous in an old Spanish style. The landscaping is just beautiful with many different kinds of trees, shrubs and flowers. The pool is rather small for a property this size but was not too busy. We toured more of the property the morning we left and I was very surprised to see how wonderful it was. I wish we had been encouraged to check it the labyrinth, the life size chess game, the checkers and...

"PROS: great location; walkable to many shops and restaurants. Clean room CONS: More of a motel than a “boutique” hotel. Room needs updating. Torn carpet, broken mirror and the bathroom was tiny and very old. Outdoor chairs were very worn, some had torn cushions "

"The property is slightly deceiving from outside because it was originally a 1930s motor court style motel . The rooms have been completely renovated and they are extremely attractive.Parking is within 30 seconds of the room . Not to discourage anybody from visiting Cottonwood,but it was 105° when we were there and the air conditioning had absolutely no problem keeping the room at 73°"
