"Really enjoyed our stay. Welcome was courteous and helpful. We had an evening meal which was delicious. Service was great. Breakfast was the highlight! Enjoyed the Dorset dairy yoghurt. One very minor point no smoked salmon alternative to bacon with the eggs Benedict but mushroom was suggested instead and was equally delicious. Overall an excellent stay room was comfy, cosy and clean - thank you 🙏"

"This is a lovely old building. The rooms are very comfortable and the bed is superb for a good nights sleep. Set just outside town, a short taxi ride in and out, it was very quiet and ample safe parking. The Dinner was very good (Belly pork) and you must try the garlic and cheese bread, it is huge like a pizza and far more than we expected. The staff are very friendly and helpful, they made our stay a memorable one. Thank you very much. I would definitely stay here again if we are in the area."

"Friendly staff, clean and comfortable room, and although the bathroom seemed a little worn it was very clean. Breakfast was ok. The rooms we had were an upgrade from the ones we booked, I think. The hotel was situated in a lovely area, with walking available along the river and the canal, and a couple of villages close by, containing decent pubs and restaurants. I would stay there again."

"The shower hardly worked, it had a large shower head but water only came out of a handful of the holes and there was no hot water no matter how much the settings were adjusted so ended up washing my hair in the sink! The bed was uncomfortable and so had a really poor nights sleep. The only coffee in the room was for the nespresso machine, would have been nice to have a choice of capsules and instant coffee sachets. The pub and restaurant were very nice but I wouldn’t stay again unfortunately "

"We stayed at Gray Manor Hotel as a base for visiting Stonehenge and Salisbury, and it was in a great location for both. The hotel is set in beautiful surroundings, and the staff were lovely — very chatty, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable, although a little dated and in need of some TLC in places. "Lovely room at top, very spacious, extremely comfortable bed, bathroom spacious. Cooked breakfast was superb and beautifully presented. Staff were welcoming, helpful and friendly. Weeny downside, I had already paid via Expedia, my partner didn't realise, and when checking in, whilst I was elsewhere, paid for the room.
