"Really friendly check in. Informative gave us later check out due to the nature of our stay. Room very spacious and clean. However room very cold radiator doesnt work. Called the number at reception they brought a portable heater which was fab. If it had just been my partner & myself staying it"

"All staff we had contact with were pleasant and helpful. Our room was clean except for some black hair in the bath. The bed was generally comfortable other than an indentation half way down the left side. Plenty of parking. Our dinner was nice and just the right amount."

"Easy parking, clean and tidy room only let down was squeaky bed when someone moved, toilet and shower block clean and plenty of hot water, shared kitchen clean with plates cups etc. for a inexpensive place to stay was very impressed. If travelling in area again would definitely use, many thanks."

"Robert was a lovely host, very helpful and accommodating. We enjoyed having the extra space to relax. Street noise can be a bit loud, but the location is great! Host also provided ear plugs for the noise."

Lots of vintage shops and independent retailers. Friendly locals offering help when i looked lost, which i often do. A beautiful time of year to visit in the autumn.
