"Basic and dated room and amenities but suited our purpose which was just a qyiet place to sleep and rest. No sockets near beds which was a pain. Staff were nice, had minimul interaction with them though. We only stayed 2 nights, in the family room. Read other rwviews about water quality so we didn't shower. Was no hot water in taps either. I'd stay again.for a shoet break though. Price was brilliant and location excellent "

"Just an amazing hotel "

"We stayed at the Scone Arms for one night and had a very comfortable stay. The hotel was spotless, our bedroom was spacious, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and they even made us a lovely vegan English breakfast, which we really appreciated. We didn’t have time to explore Perth on this visit, but we’d happily stay at this hotel again when we return in the future."

"We had a lovely stay at 4 Friends House. The communication beforehand was great and we received a very friendly welcome. Our room was a good size, well-equipped and was very clean. There are very good transport connections - lots of buses in the vicinity and only a 10/15 minute walk to the shore at Leith. There is a Coop opposite if you need anything and they provide bread, cereal, fruit and a few other essentials for breakfast if you'd like it. If you prefer something hot there are several...

"I will definitely return to this Hotel . Very clean , very good value for your money , and the Breakfast is to be one of the reasons you stay . Good old fashioned Full Breakfast, with black pudding and Haggis, toast and Orange juice, with tea or coffee. Thanks so much for the warm welcome , see you in 2026."
