"The hotel and staff were very nice. Wonderful views from our balconies. Unfortunately, most of Mesa Verde park was closed due to the government shutdown.we had stayed at the Grand Canyon a few days earlier and everything was business as usual. I even got an email from the Grand Canyon before our arrival saying they were open, but some services might not be available due to the shutdown - we didn’t notice anything not available.
