They do appear to have a programme of renovations in hand, but our corner room had several cracked window panes and dated furnishings. The sink does not have a mixer tap, and the hot water is scalding, while there is almost no water pressure for the shower. "Expedia did not relay my original request for a twin-bedded room (we were two elderly ladies) and we were allocated VERY SMALL double bed which was totally unacceptable. Fortunately the hotel were eventually able to arrange a twin-bedded room by splitting a king size bed into two sections and the situation was resolved. BUT it could have spoiled our holiday had a solution not been found (the hotel was fully booked)."

"Clean rooms with everything you would expect in most hotels. Complimentary water in the room was welcomed especially as we stayed when temperatures were higher. Only upgrade that would be helpful is air-conditioning although we were lucky we had a cross draught with the window and balcony doors which helped hugely. "Wonderful clean room with many amenities. Exceptional dinner and breakfast all served by very friendly staff. Hotel is in a beautiful setting with lovely large patio, plenty of outside comfortable seating with marvellous views across the gardens. Even though the website says there is a fan in the room I had to go down to reception and ask for one.
