"The toilet no lid, dirty bathroom, sink. Hair still on the bed, blanket not sure cleaned."

"This was my absolute worst hotels.com experience hands down. The room was so dirty that I tried to cancel my reservation, a first ever. And I’ve stayed in some funky places but this takes the cake. The furniture had crusty stains like 3-D stains, the remote control was covered in some kind of sticky goo, sheets stained, burn holes in the blanket, bathroom was a nightmare. Had to wake up at 4am to catch a flight. There was a prostitute coming in and out of an open room, homeless guy (very nice...

"Single bedrooms are worse in person and pictures are not shown for it. Very dirty inside, nothing seems to be cleaned at all except maybe the sheets. Every room is a smoking room, so everything smells like cigarettes, including; pillows, sheets, towels, floor, and AC blows out cigarette smell. "

"All my traveler needs were well met at the Marina Inn. That is why I stop there every year when I am flying through Oakland. The property is older but bathrooms have been updated and the place is well maintained. My room was clean. Staff is friendly and helpful. The shuttle from and to the Oakland Airport works well Breakfast options are mostly starch. Could use more protein. But that is a small issue to me."
