"Needs a little upgrade "

"We came back for a 2nd year in a row, and enjoyed it again. The view from the 2nd floor of the Cove Villas 1,2,3 is just spectacular, and each villa having its own pool is also nice. The food is very good, all 3 restaurants were excellent, with the Cove being the best. The staff all over the resort is just so nice and friendly, they really make you feel welcome. Some staff members in particular we would like to thank are Cameron (food and beverages manager), Annia, Sparkle and Derah at Palm who made our breakfast there every morning so much more enjoyable, Del at water sports who gave a really great sailing lesson to my wife, Carez (the bartender at the Cove) who made delicious cocktails, and a special thanks to the General Manager Kevin who moved us half-way through our stay to the kind of room we wanted. The only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that despite our being repeat guests and clearly indicating twice the kind of room we wanted in the Cove Villas (a 2nd floor room) they put us in a Ground floor room, and it was only because Kevin (the General Manager) kindly interceded on our behalf that we were moved after 3 days. Blue Waters is such a wonderful place and we have such high expectations of it, that we would have thought that they would have been able to figure this out from the start."

"The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was pretty good for an all inclusive. Only issue we had was the 1st room we checked into was very damp and humid, was also on the ground floor by the 2nd pool. The room had a dehumidifier placed in there so we knew it was definitely a problem. They werent able to change our room until the next day but we were pleased with the new room. As for the drinks, best to buy yourself a bottle because the drinks are watered down. "
