Hotel dekat Earnest Shepard Memorial Youth Center Park

"The hotel was nice. The first room they gave me was still being cleaned by housekeepers So I got a different room. Otherwise it was nice."

"Pretty good place to stay."

"The staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast was pretty good (variety of options); the waffles were a highlight for my fam. Our room was rather clean, and the bathroom was amply spacious. The pool was a bonus!"

"Nice location but other things pretty disappointing, Our room, the bed was located right by the door. Noise was right there so it felt like I was laying out in the hallway. There was a wedding and reception which was going to be noisy (understandable) but 11 pm kids running up and down the hallway screaming and slamming doors. I called the place from my cell phone and asked if that was part of the experience I was supposed to have. No apology from him. I did not call angry, I was very polite....

"Everything was really clean, the breakfast was better than the normal continental breakfast. And the staff was very friendly."

"Clean place, close to a ton of stuff to do. Nice rooms."

"This was a pretty standard hotel. The bathroom had been remodeled but appeared to be unfinished. There were refillable dispensers for body wash, shampoo and conditioner in the shower. The bed was comfortable and the room clean. The breakfast was pretty standard. There was a waffle machine, biscuits, sausage and gravy and numerous breads. No fresh fruit. Coffee, tea and juice. OK for one night while traveling"

"Wonderful historic hotel with all the charm of 1940’s Enjoyed the spa, but timing was a little off to get both a massage and use of facilities. Prior guests trash and towels were left outside our room. Otherwise, recommend!"

"The owners were excellent! They know so much about the area and are full of wonderful stories. Would love to hear more of them sometime. My dog and I stayed one night and had everything we needed. Bed was very comfortable, and it was a nice quiet location with plenty of grassy areas to walk my dog around. Really nice to have the full fridge and freezer available in the separate full kitchen to store my food items. A lot of interesting memorabilia and photos in the house as well. A few things...

"Clean room and comfortable bed"

"I wanna start this review off by saying that the staff was absolutely excellent and very accommodating when we asked to switch rooms twice. Both of the initial rooms that we were given on the first floor smelled like urine and pet odors. Those were in building C. The room that we were given in building A was tolerable but not pleasant. There was no hot water to take a shower at 8 AM. I tried everything letting it run for about 10 min. Then I decided to step in and just wash the important parts...

"I was initially given a terrible room. The door was in the elevator lobby! The room was small, dark, and had a bit of a smell. I went back to the front desk and said it was unacceptable. The lady at the desk said it might be difficult to move me, because they were full, but she looked at it for quite a while and was finally able to change me to a normal room. I very much appreciated her efforts. That room was much better, but truly, this hotel needs some work. It gives an old, worn impression...

"The heated pool didn’t work, the room had a strange order, the BBQ outdoor area was full of people smoking marijuana and playing loud music the whole weekend"
