"Good hotel for the price. We had to be at the convention center and this was walkable to it. There's a monorail station a couple of blocks away to get you to the strip. Only has about 30-50 slots so not a place to stay if you want to be in a big casino. Downside was there was no microwave in our room. I would stay again and recommend. It's not a luxury hotel but a good place for a home base."

"Our main concern was that we never had anything more than luke warm water to shower. The staff were very pleasant and the facility is great. The neighborhood around the hotel could have been cleaner. We noticed a lot of homelessness. Our grandson is a student at UNLV so the close proximity to their campus and swimming pool was a big plus and the main reason we stayed at the Virgin. "
