"Stayed here on a Sunday night on the way back from Scotland. The room was of a very high standard. The bed was a tad too soft - but other than that the stay was lovely."

"Situated in the very centre of Kelso, convenient place to stay when exploring the area. Checkin was done very easily, with clear instructions sent beforehand. There is a Greggs just in front of the hotel, and also several restaurants and takeaways in close vicinity. There was double glazing in the room, and hence better insulation. "

"Fantastic Georgian country house, most comfortable bed I’ve slept in when away from home. Host is knowledgeable about surrounding area and is very attentive."

"All Staff were excellent, Food was excellent, room was lovely. My only niggle (and it is a niggle) was that our room also had the upstairs fire escape door - which was not mentioned at all (ie, what to do in event of a fire and whether our bedroom was the fire escape access for all the rooms in our section)."
