"This guest house looks nice on the outside but absolutely lovely inside! We loved our suite looking out at the castle which is right beside the property. The bed was fantastic with tons of pillows. A comfy couch was great for reading and the room made you feel like you were staying in the home of a wealthy aunt, not a hotel. You’re in a quiet neighborhood with other lovely houses.
I’ve stayed at the Empress but this will be my first pick for my next trip to Victoria. The value is much better...
"Beautiful setting and views. Fine dining or pub food and room service. The room was large with a fireplace and balcony with table and chairs, huge TV. Separate tub and shower. Floor to ceiling windows with dark see-through shades. Quiet and peaceful. Literally a block to the Mill Bay ferry. Very nice. Will stay again."
"Check in was great staff friendly and helpful. Rooms clean and comfortable. Rooms are somewhat dated but repaires keep up. we had mountain bikes that we were able to store in lockup. "

Quiet street around neighbourhood even though this hotel located at central downtown Victoria area. Walkable distance to some dining options nearby. Morning included breakfast with table service was beyond fabulous which surpassed some similar brunch provided restaurants. Limited parking behind building and narrow same entry/exit driveway. "We had a lovely stay. The property is beautiful it was like stepping back in time. Staff are amazing can’t do enough for you. Your stay here includes breakfast we are vegetarian and also do not eat eggs this was accommodated for with no issues. We were also leaving before breakfast time on our final day so they arranged for a to go breakfast for us which was so nice of them. I had also left my coat in the room on check out and they kindly arranged for this to be posted to family in Toronto...
